The exhibition presented more than 30 photographs, divided into three sections: “Landscape and Ancient City,” “Modern Urban Style,” and “Humanistic Life.” These works showcased the unique charm of Jinan as a national historical and cultural city from various perspectives. In the “Landscape and Ancient City” section, iconic landmarks such as Baotu Spring, Daming Lake, and Thousand-Buddha Mountain conveyed the poetic and picturesque spirit of Jinan, also known as the “City of Springs.” The “Modern Urban Style” section featured skylines of the CBD, the Olympic Sports Center, and high-speed railway hubs, illustrating the vitality of Jinan as the capital city of Shandong Province. The “Humanistic Life” section highlighted well-known local and international figures, as well as city-brand events, offering a vivid portrayal of the warmth, simplicity, and rich cultural traditions of Jinan’s residents.

As an important platform for Sino-French cultural exchange, the Confucius Institute of Brittany in Rennes has long been committed to promoting Chinese language education and culture. Following past events such as the "Hanfu Culture Theme Event" and the "Women in Chinese Characters" activity, the “Encounter Jinan” photo exhibition is yet another unique cultural initiative by the institute, further advancing the localized promotion of Chinese culture.
